Cherry Hill To Close Trails To Prevent Coronavirus Spread
The announcement falls in line with Gov. Phil Murphy's order to close all state and county parks earlier this week.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill is closing all township trails after Gov. Phil Murphy ordered the closure of all state and county parks earlier this week, township officials said on Thursday.
“We would like to remind residents that parks and playgrounds are closed and are not to be used at this time. This includes swings, playground equipment, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, hockey courts, and all other recreational facilities,” township officials said in a statement. “Please do not use these facilities at this time. Please do not gather in these areas with others.”
Murphy ordered the closure of all state and county parks after reports of large gatherings at the parks over the weekend. They are being closed in an effort to slow the spread of new coronavirus. Read more here: Gov. Murphy Closes Parks On Coronavirus's Deadliest Day

Officials also announced that bulk trash pickup in the township would be canceled while the township’s trash collector, Republic Services, deals with the impact of new coronavirus. Residents who have bulk trash are asked to secure it for later disposal when normal business resumes.
