Cherry Hill Fire Department Holds 9/11 Memorial Service Friday

The service at Central Command begins at 8:30 a.m., and the public is welcome to attend.

The Cherry Hill Fire Department will honor those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with a memorial service Friday morning.

The service takes place at Central Command, 1100 Marlkress Road, in front of the 9-11 Monument honoring all those who lost their lives on that tragic day.

The service begins at 8:30 a.m. At 8:42, there will be a moment of silence. A commemorative wreath will be placed at the flag pole.

Council Vice President Sara Lipsett will be in attendance, representing the Mayor’s Office.
