CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Public Library will be closed for the next two weeks after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus, the library announced this week. It plans to reopen on Nov. 18.

“Our thoughts are with our employee and their family as they continue to get well,” the library said in a social media post. “With consent from the Board of Trustees, the library is closed for two weeks for cleaning. We are working with the Health Department and completing necessary cleaning and disinfecting following CDC guidelines.”

While the library is closed, the book drops will also be closed and residents are asked not to return any items. All items will be automatically renewed until Nov. 30. No fines will be incurred during this time, the library said.
