Cherry Hill Mall Still Owner's 'Crown Jewel', With New Businesses Arriving
PREIT has new ownership, but Cherry Hill Mall is still the company's top asset, with several new businesses set to open.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Although its parent company is in new hands, Cherry Hill Mall remains the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust's "crown jewel," PREIT says.
Cherry Hill Mall signed leases for several new businesses expected to open within the next year.
PREIT, which owns Cherry Hill Mall, recently changed ownership after going bankrupt for the second time in three years. But even during PREIT's darkest days, the company touted Cherry Hill Mall as its top-performing shopping center.

With PREIT's new ownership in place, Cherry Hill Mall has announced some recent lease signings. Here's what's coming to the shopping center:

- Alo Yoga: The activewear retailer specializes in yoga-inspired lifestyle products. (Projected opening: this holiday season.)
- Kendra Scott: sporting unique jewelry and accessories. (Projected opening: this holiday season.)
- Dry Goods: Offering an array of women's fashion and accessories, Dry Goods will be new to the Philadelphia market. (Projected opening: TBD.)
- Rowan: Specializing in a safe and modernized ear piercing experience. (Projected opening: Spring 2025.)
- Signature Workspace: office spaces for both solo employees and for co-working. (Projected opening: this summer.)
PREIT owns 17 shopping centers — mostly in the Mid-Atlantic. Its New Jersey assets include the Cherry Hill and Moorestown malls.
