Child Porn Plea Made By Accused Camden County Man: Feds

Investigators say Ryan Osinski of Camden County had sexually explicit images and videos of prepubescent children saved on his phone.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A Cherry Hill man admitted distributing images and videos of child pornography over the Internet in federal court Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

Officials said Ryan Osinski, 33, pleaded guilty to a charge of distribution of child pornography in front of U.S. District Judge Christine P. O'Hearn.

Osinski was a non-commissioned officer in the United States Air Force when officials charged him last year. An Air Force spokesman told Patch there is no one matching his name currently serving on active duty with the USAF.

Osinski faces a mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 20 years in prison, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Sentencing is scheduled for March 27, 2023.

Law enforcement officers interviewed Osinski in December 2020 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed them that images of child sexual abuse were being shared from an IP address linked to Osinski's residence, Sellinger said.

Officers found numerous images and videos of child sexual abuse on Osinski's phone, Sellinger said. Investigators also found links and folders on a cloud storage website that contained images and videos of child sexual abuse, officials said. Some of the materials "depicted prepubescent children and sadomasochistic conduct," Sellinger said.

Osinski transmitted the files to other people through a social media app on his phone, officials said.
