Cherry Hill Man Charged With Murder Of Camden County Woman

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene last weekend, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

LAWNSIDE, NJ — A Cherry Hill man was charged with murder for the shooting of a Camden County woman, authorities announced Friday. Kyle Foggy, 29, fatally shot Michelle Cruz early Saturday morning in Lawnside, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.

Lawnside police and EMS responded to the 100 block of Mouldy Road just after 4 a.m. Saturday, where they found a woman, later identified as Cruz, who had been shot. The 28-year-old Lawnside resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation from the CCPO's Homicide Unit, Foggy was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The prosecutor's office didn't disclose what events led up to the shooting. But a spokesperson for the agency told Patch that Cruz and Foggy had a prior dating relationship.
