Cherry Hill Parks, Trails To Reopen Saturday

Parks had been closed since the middle of April amid the outbreak of new coronavirus.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — All parks and trails in Cherry Hill will reopen Saturday following Gov. Phil Murphy's announcement that all state parks and golf courses will be permitted to reopen, officials announced.

Cherry Hill residents should continue to follow social distancing guidelines, wear a face mask or covering, and wash their hands whenever possible. Playgrounds and recreational fields will remain closed, including basketball, hockey, tennis, pickleball, soccer, and baseball fields/courts etc.

“While we look forward to the changing weather and as we begin to see improvements in trends related to COVID-19, it is unfortunately not possible to maintain social distancing with all activities and equipment, but we hope to be able to open these other facilities soon,” Cherry Hill officials said. “Enjoy the outdoors.”
