Cherry Hill Police Remind Residents to Lock Car Doors in Wake of Thefts
Unknown people are taking items from unlocked cars in Cherry Hill.

Cherry Hill, NJ -- Cherry Hill Police are reminding residents to lock their cars after receiving multiple reports of people entering cars during overnight hours.
“Most vehicles had simple items, such as change, taken from them but the common denominator for most is that the vehicles were left unlocked,” police said this week. “This type of theft happens often and it is a crime of opportunity. Door handles are tried and if the car is locked they usually move on.”
Anyone who sees any suspicious people or activity is advised to call the non-emergency police dispatch number at 856-665-1200.
