Police remind parents to remind their children they should not talk to strangers and if someone does approach them they should run away and be sure to report the incident to a trusted adult.
“Kids need to trust their own instincts and be reminded that if someone makes them feel uncomfortable or if they feel like something’s just not right, even if they can't explain why, they need to walk away immediately and report the incident,” police said.
