Cherry Hill Veterinarian's Death Being Investigated As A Homicide
Dr. Michael Anthony, who ran a local vet practice, was found dead Tuesday outside his home.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A veterinarian's death outside of his Cherry Hill home is being investigated as a homicide, officials told Patch.
But two days after Dr. Michael Anthony was pronounced dead, authorities are still seeking answers.
Anthony, 45, was found unconscious just after 7 a.m. Tuesday outside of his Sharrowvalle Road home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation as a homicide, said a spokesperson for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. But the CCPO is not releasing additional information as of Thursday morning.
There's been no word about how Anthony died or the events leading up to his death.

Anthony owned and founded Haddon Vet — a veterinary clinic in Haddon Heights. He was an avid runner and reader who loved movies, and he enjoyed playing sports with his two sons, according to his professional bio.
Newkirk Family Veterinarians in Egg Harbor Township, where Anthony used to work, remembered him for his "love and passion for animals and veterinary medicine."
Anthony lived in the Barclay neighborhood — known as a quiet area where local children walk to school and bike to swim clubs.
