Cherry Hill Wawa Closed Due To Coronavirus
An employee at the Wawa on Route 70 tested positive for coronavirus, according to Wawa.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A Wawa store in Cherry Hill is temporarily closed after a worker tested positive for new coronavirus, the store said on Wednesday.
The Wawa at 1824 Route 70 is closed and being disinfected after a worker tested positive for coronavirus, Spokesperson Jennifer Wolf said. The employee last worked on March 24.
The store and the Camden County Department of Health are working together to notify employees who were in direct contact with the employee who is infected, Wolf said.

It is unknown when the store will reopen, but Wolf said they hope to reopen the store as soon as possible with employees from nearby stores if necessary.
"As always, the health and safety of our customers and associates is a top priority," Wolf said. "We will do everything we can to support our associate, including providing paid time off, and take all necessary steps to monitor, safeguard and protect all our associates and customers."

Sixty-six cases of coronavirus have been reported in Cherry Hill, and 242 have been reported throughout Camden County. Six fatalities were reported.
