Cherry Hill West Girls Fall in Swim Finals to Hillsborough
The Lions fall in the Central Jersey A championship Friday.
The Cherry Hill West girls swimmers earned their way into the Central A finals with a speedy quartet who helped the No. 2-seeded Lions win all but two races against Cherokee in the semis.

And in the matchup of speed versus speed, Hillsborough came out on top in the title meet at Neptune Friday evening, putting up event win after event win in a 106-64 victory over West.

While the Lions battled, they simply had no answer for Hillsborough’s top 4—Julieyanna Parker, Rachel Stoddard, Jacquelynn Parker and Lindsday Temple—who swam close to season-bests in multiple events in the Raiders’ win.
The loss dashed the Lions’ hopes of a title repeat, as they ended their season 10-2, with the only losses coming to East in the regular season and Hillsborough in the finals.
