Elderly Man Injures 2 Children After Crashing Car Into Store

It's every parent's worst nightmare to have their children be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, especially when there's nothing you can do to prevent an injury from occurring. On August 18th, 94-year old Jacob Fell accidentally drove his car into the front windows of a Fine Wine & Good Sprits store injuring himself and two younger children who are currently in stable condition.

The accident occurred after Fell mistakenly hit the gas pedal as he glided into a parking spot instead of the brakes forcefully thrusting his 2016 Chevy Impala into the pane of glass. The blast caused glass to shatter all across the store and injured one child while the other was actually struck by the vehicle.

The children were brought to Grand View Hospital to recover from their injuries and the store currently remains closed as they deal with the aftermath of the car accident.
