Electronics Recycling Day In Camden County Saturday
The next electronics recycling day for Camden County residents will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Camden County will hold its next drive-through household Electronics Recycling Collection Day on Saturday, Nov. 2, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Camden County Public Works Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road in Lindenwold, officials announced.
“Many of the components used in household electronics, including metals, plastics, and glass, can be recycled for future use, saving energy and reducing the environmental impact of producing new materials,” Camden County Freeholder Jeff Nash announced. “Additionally, it’s important to properly dispose of products that may contain environmentally harmful materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium and chromium.”
Items accepted at no charge include TVs and monitors, computers, keyboards, VCRs, scanners, DVD players, tape players, stereo equipment, typewriters, printers, laptops, modems, telecommunication equipment, fax machines, radios, answering machines and telephones.

“We all have a pile of outdated, broken, or unwanted electronics somewhere at home, and this is an excellent, responsible way to finally dispose of them,” Nash said. “Everything brought to the public works complex will either be refurbished for future use or recycled to help protect the environment.”
