Fixing CamCo Potholes 'One Of Our Top Priorities,' Official Says
About $15 million will be spent on Camden County roads and potholes this season, officials say.
CAMDEN, NJ — Camden County and Camden City have teamed up to improve roads across those areas, according to a press release.
“The condition of the streets has an immediate impact on people regardless of whether they drive, walk or ride a bike,” Camden County Commissioner Al Dyer said in the press release. “That is why it’s one of our top priorities to fix the potholes and roadway issues that are present in the city and the county at large.”
Work crews were poised to start work on roadway construction projects totaling $15 million, and there were also more than $40 million of roadway and infrastructure projects in the design phase and another $4 million designated for bridge repair and construction at the time of Wednesday’s announcement.
