Former Cherry Hill Café's Owners Open New Eatery
Take 5 Cafe's owners used to operate the Cool Dog Cafe in Cherry Hill and then MoonDog Grill in Moorestown Mall.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The owners of MoonDog Grill and a former Cherry Hill establishment have launched their next venture. Take 5 Cafe has opened in Mount Laurel.
The coffeehouse and dessert eatery's opening comes months after the closure of MoonDog Grill, a popular hot dog destination in Moorestown Mall.
Take 5 Cafe is located in the Bank of America Plaza in Mount Laurel (3131 Route 38). It's open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Owners Ira and Bernadette Guttman have run multiple local eateries over the years — Cool Dog Cafe in Cherry Hill, which shuttered in 2015, and MoonDog Grill, which closed Dec. 31.
Cool Dog Cafe operated for five years. In 2015, owners Ira Guttman and Shawn Harwood shuttered the business to pursue different dreams. Harwood began working with Starr Restaurants in Philadelphia, while Ira Guttman opened MoonDog Grill.
