The Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey (‘GSCSNJ’) want to flood our Armed Forces with love this Valentine’s weekend through the Cookie Share Program. Cookie Share is a service project that enables the community to send Girl Scout cookies to our Armed Forces without having to incur the effort or cost of handling and shipping. GSCSNJ has partnerships with the Joint Base McQuire-Fort Dix-Lakehurt and Coast Guard, to ensure that our cases of cookies get into the right hands.

In 2019, GSCSNJ shipped 2,945 cases (that’s 35,340 boxes) of cookies overseas. The enclosed picture was sent to GSCSNJ last year from the NATO Forward Presence Battle Group in Poland after they received the cookies. In 2020, the girls of GSCSNJ want to exceed a goal of 3,100 cases.

Every Girl Scout Troop can take an order for Cookie Share, however, on Valentine's Day, Cherry Hill Troops 30998 and 30674 will be at the Haddonfield PATCO station from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a cookie booth.

Beyond loving to eat Girl Scout Cookies, we believe that a package of Girl Scout Cookies will bring a smile to those military people serving away from home. We also know that our community loves to rally around our Armed Forces and send messages of caring.

If getting to Haddonfield on Valentine's Day for this cookie booth is a challenge, you can find a Girl Scout Cookie booth near you at GirlScoutCookies.org by entering your zip code. Girl Scout cookies will be available for sale through early March.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest girl-led entrepreneurial program. The Program provides a structured environment where girls develop skills like goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. All of the proceeds from cookie sales stay local to power programs and service projects. Our Girl Scouts would love to tell you more about it! Ask them.
