Jefferson Health Holding Cherry Blossom Event In Cherry Hill To Support Cancer Care

Dogs are welcome to join along.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Jefferson Health is holding a Cherry Blossom Run/Walk event in support of cancer care.

The fundraiser benefits the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Adults and youth are welcome to sign up for a 5K run or a one-mile walk. Dogs are also allowed to join alongside owners.

Both events begin at the Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital (2201 Chapel Avenue W.) on April 26 at 9 a.m.

The mapped route then takes participants through the local Cherry Hill area.

"This event brings our mission to life in a visible and meaningful way," Tamara LaCouture, MD, East Region Chief of Cancer Services, added. "Every step taken supports patients who are navigating cancer with strength and resilience."

Registration is available now online and is being offered on-site starting 90 minutes before the event.
