Katz JCC Named Best Summer Camp by Suburban Family Magazine Two Years in a Row

The JCC Camps at Medford and Early Childhood Camps at the Katz JCC were recognized, Katz JCC announced Tuesday morning.

Suburban Family Magazine has recognized the JCC Camps at Medford and Early Childhood Camps at the Katz JCC as the Best Summer Camps for the second consecutive year, Katz JCC announced Tuesday morning.

“We are thrilled to be recognized once again as the best of South Jersey’s summer camps,” JCC Executive Director Les Cohe said. “It is a testament to the professionalism, leadership and dedication of our camp staff, and we know that families are confident in the exceptional experiences we provide for their children in both of our camps.”

The JCC Camps at Medford has been recognized nationally. The camp for ages 3-14 is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

It s located in Medford on a 120-acre shaded site. Those who attend the camp learn values and life skills in a fun, safe, environment while creating lasting friendships and memories.

Facilities include several swimming pools designed for each age level (pools for older campers include water slides and diving board), a picturesque lake with fishing and boating, sports fields, water splash park, nature complex, art centers and much more.

The JCC Camps at Medford also won the Courier Post’s Readers Choice for Best Day Camp in 2014 and 2013.

The Early Childhood Camps at the Katz JCC is for ages 2-5, and includes air-conditional facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, full size gymnasium, Imaginarium (indoor climbing and play structure) and outdoor playground, camp activities include cooking, music, sports, swim lessons, weekly themes, entertainment and special events.
