Lourdes Holds Backpack Drive for Local Children in Need

Lourdes Medical Associates/Osborn Family Health Center is hosting its 12th annual Backpack Drive through August 16. The health center is asking members of the community and its employees to donate new backpacks stuffed with school supplies, including pencils, pens, markers, crayons, folders, glue sticks, scissors, notebooks, tissues. and any extra item that will make returning to school exciting for the children.

All donated backpacks stuffed with school supplies will be distributed to local children in need prior to the start of the school year.

Donations can be made two ways. School supplies can also be purchased online and shipped directly to Osborn Family Health Center, 1601 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ, Attention Deborah Bokas. Stuffed backpacks can also be dropped-off at Osborn. Drop-off times are Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
