Man Killed After Being Hit By Car In Cherry Hill Identified

A Runnemede man was killed while crossing Route 70 in Cherry Hill Saturday night.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - A 23-year-old man was killed after being hit by a car in Cherry Hill Saturday night, according to authorities.

Guillermo Tolentino, of Runnemede, was killed while crossing Route 70 in Cherry Hill Saturday night, April 20, police said Monday afternoon.

He was crossing near Greentree Road in the area of the PJ Whelihan’s Restaurant just after 9 p.m. when he was hit by a car that was heading west, police said.

The driver stopped after the accident and is cooperating with police. No charges have been filed in connection with the accident. The road was closed for about five hours during the initial investigation.

However, police said there were a number of other vehicles traveling in the area at the time of the accident, and they are looking for anyone who might have any information about the crash.
