New Jersey Based, Woman-Owned Business On the Rise

Thursday, August 31th, 2017; Cherry Hill, NJ- Local business woman Jacqueline Devone is an entrepreneur taking beauty products to the next level with her business, 100% POSH. Jacqueline started her business in June of 2015 with a dream to positively change the world by offering vegan, cruelty-free & fair trade essential beauty products for the body and bath, and with the help of the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship (WCEC) and with hours of planning, resilience and dedication she was able to turn her dream into a reality.

With the help of the WCEC, a non profit organization devoted to providing women entrepreneurs with the resources to start and grow businesses in the New Jersey area, Jacqueline learned the fundamentals of starting and operating a business from creating a business structure, to operations, and marketing. The WCEC provided the resources necessary to launch her business. She was given the opportunity to access entrepreneurial training, while being part of a network of inspiring women dedicated to making an impact in their communities. After completing training classes and her business plan, she entered the S.E.E.D 2015 Grant Business Plan Competition. She was nominated as a finalist and went on to place among the top 4 candidates that year, which presented her with the funding needed to launch her business. From day one and throughout all of the stages of building her business, the WCEC has been there for support. Jacqueline inspirationally states, "Starting a business is hard, growing a business is harder."

Jacqueline stated, “100% POSH is a curated e-boutique that offers organic beauty products made with natural, wildcrafted, certified organic ingredients by specialty brands. Our selected products are vegan, cruelty-free and fair trade. Essential beauty products for the body and bath with fewer ingredients for gentle skin care.” The company mission is "to give you unique organic beauty finds made without synthetic ingredients, artificial fragrances or parabens. As 100% POSH continues to grow, they plan to make an impact in the local and global community by giving back and making a difference. Jacqueline and 100% POSH have partnered with Feeding Children Everywhere®, a global hunger relief organization on a mission to create a hunger-free world.
