New Tesla Showroom In Cherry Hill Features Model 3
The showroom opened on Route 70 in Cherry Hill on Friday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Electric car maker Tesla has plans to open its first showroom in South Jersey. The new showroom at 1605 Route 70 in Cherry Hill will also offer New Jersey residents their first chance to see the Model 3, Tesla’s new family sedan, the company announced this week.
The store opens on Friday, April 13. The store will be open for sales on Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The location’s service hours will be Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturdays by appointment only.
Tesla cars do not have gas tanks, and run totally on electric energy. They can go between 200-300 miles on a single full charge, the Washington Post reported.

The electric car company has more than 300 galleries and stores around the world that invite the general public to learn about electric driving and sustainable energy products through hands-on customer service and educational displays, the company said in a release.
The new Tesla facility in Cherry Hill features energy products and multiple Tesla vehicles on display, including the Tesla Model 3. This will be the first opportunity for customers in New Jersey to see the car, sit inside it, and learn about it from Tesla’s staff. The Model 3 will also debut in Tesla’s Short Hills showroom on Friday. Tesla will transfer its sales license at the Garden State Plaza Tesla location to the new Cherry Hill showroom.

New Jersey residents have access to seven Tesla Superchargers in the state, including in Jersey City, Hamilton, Tinton Falls and Woodbridge. Another charging station is set to open in Parsippany on a date to be determined, and additional Superchargers will be installed in the Cherry Hill region in the next year.
