UPDATE: NJ Transit Rail Service Resumes With Residual Delays
Signal problems temporarily halted most lines Tuesday morning.

NJ Transit has resumed with residual delays of up to one hour, including the Atlantic City Line, as of 10:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Computer system problems hit the system around 9 a.m., officials said, resulting in signal loss on most NJ Transit-controlled rail lines. Service was suspended as a precaution to ensure rider safety, officials said.
The only line that was still able to run during the shutdown was the Northeast Corridor line, officials said. The signal problems have since been resolved.
NJ Transit is cross honoring rail passes with light rail, NJ Transit bus services, private bus services and Path trains.
