Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing Hosts “Marketplace for Healthy Living”
Weekly Event Offers Fresh Produce, Health Information and Screenings

Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing will host its “Marketplace for Healthy Living” each Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through July 20. The event offers free health screenings, health education and a Reach Out & Read program for the Camden community.
The Marketplace is located at the Sister Elizabeth Corry Ambulatory Care Center entrance of Osborn Family Health Center, located at 1601 Haddon Avenue in Camden. It features:
- Blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat analysis, and blood glucose screenings
- Donations of free food from Farmers Against Hunger - Wednesdays only, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., through September
- Health Education
- Reach Out and Read program for children - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (for children of Osborn Family Health Center patients)
Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing created the “Marketplace for Healthy Living” in an effort to involve its students in community health promotion and to provide health care services to the Camden community. Lourdes Health System, Lourdes Medical Associates, Lourdes Wellness Center, the Camden Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Parkside Business and Community Partnership, Inc, Pastore’s Orchard and Farmer’s Against Hunger have partnered with Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing in this endeavor.
