Stacey Udell Joins HBK CPAs & Consultants Valuation, Litigation and Forensics Subsidiary

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO—Nov. 7, 2017—HBK CPAs & Consultants (HBK), a Top 100 CPA firm, welcomes Stacey D. Udell, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, as director of Valuation and Litigation Services for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

In this new role, Udell will provide expertise in valuation, forensic and litigation support services, primarily working at the company’s offices in Cherry Hill and Princeton, New Jersey and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania at HBK Valuation, Litigation and Forensics, a subsidiary of HBK. Udell is a certified public accountant accredited in business valuation, certified in financial forensics, and certified valuation analyst with more than 20 years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, economic damages and litigation support services.

Udell’s professional experience includes serving as a partner at Gold Gerstein Group, LLC, providing accounting and tax services for closely held and family businesses including financial statement preparation, business and personal income tax planning and compliance, estate and business succession planning.

She has valued privately owned operating companies and divisions, investment holding companies, and other entities in various industries including, but not limited to: cannabis, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and wholesale sales. Udell has also been qualified as an expert in business valuation, forensics, and economic damages in New Jersey. She has worked with counsel on valuations prepared for marital dissolutions, shareholder and estate tax disputes, as well as on complicated computations of economic damages, and has successfully defended her opinions.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, both national and regional, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Udell is also a founding member of the South Jersey Collaborative Divorce Professionals and the Bridge West Network, a national network of independent CPAs, attorneys, and industry professionals serving the legalized marijuana industry.

Udell earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from University of Delaware in 1993, and has authored articles for many leading industry publications in the past decade, during which time she has also been a speaker at various industry events.
