Raising Cane's In Cherry Hill Gets Closer To Opening
NJ's fried chicken landscape is undergoing significant upheaval, and Cherry Hill has felt the impact.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Raising Cane's is getting closer to dipping its chicken fingers into Cherry Hill.
The Southern fast-food chain expects its Cherry Hill restaurant to open early next year — shooting for the end of February — according to a company spokesperson.
Raising Cane's has been planning an aggressive expansion into South Jersey, with several restaurants in the works around the region. Locations are also planned for Marlton, Deptford, Burlington Township and Washington Township.

The chain's specialties include chicken fingers (with signature Cane's sauce), chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and sweet tea.

Last week, PDQ abruptly closed its Cherry Hill and Sicklerville eateries, leaving Marlton as its last-remaining Garden State restaurant.

Raising Cane's in Cherry Hill will open in Garden State Park at 2014 Route 70 W— a half-mile down the road from the newly relocated Chick-fil-A.
South Jersey chicken fans can currently find several Raising Cane's locations in eastern Pennsylvania, including three in Philadelphia.
