Raising Cane's Sets Opening Date For Cherry Hill Restaurant

The Southern chain, which specializes in chicken tenders, has begun opening locations throughout South Jersey.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The wait is almost over. Raising Cane's plans to open next month in Cherry Hill.

The grand opening will take place March 5, as the fried chicken chain spreads its wings throughout South Jersey.

In 2022, Raising Cane's unveiled plans to open several restaurants throughout New Jersey. The first of several opened in mid-January in Burlington, and Tuesday will mark Marlton's grand opening.

Locations are also in development in Deptford, Glassboro, Lawnside and Turnersville.

Raising Cane's in Cherry Hill will open in Garden State Park. Chick-fil-A used to occupy the shopping center, but it relocated a half-mile down the road last year to the Garden State Pavilions.

The chain's specialties include chicken fingers (with signature Cane's sauce), chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and sweet tea.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. on Cherry Hill's opening day. Twenty customers who arrive in the first hour can enter to win free Cane's for a year. The first 100 diners to purchase a combo will each receive a free box combo reward card for their next visit and "custom swag." See the official rules.

Normal hours of operation will run from 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
