VOORHEES, NJ — A diner in Camden County abruptly closed. This time, it's permanent.

Voorhees Diner shuttered earlier this month without any formal announcement. In recent days, the diner's Google listing updated to reflect the permanent closure.

The restaurant faced several lawsuits over the years. In 2019, the business paid a $400,000 settlement after the U.S. Labor Department sued it for unpaid wages, according to NJ Advance Media.

Two employees sued ownership for sexual harassment around that time. In one case, a former waiter, who is gay, quit the job because of name-calling and other hostile behavior related to his sexual orientation, resulting in a $20,000 settlement.

Voorhees Diner suddenly closed in 2022 but later reopened, 42 Freeway reported.
