Water Service Shut Down For Emergency Repairs In Cherry Hill Neighborhood
Emergency repairs on a broken water main left some streets without water.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Water service was shut down for some Cherry Hill residents Monday for emergency repairs of a broken water main.
The water main broke early Monday morning around Dewberry Lane and Gatewood Road in the Woodcrest neighborhood. NJ American Water shut down service in the area at about 9 a.m. to fix a leak, with repairs estimated to last about 6 hours.
Impacted residents may get discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water at all. When service is restored, some might still get discolored water.

"If your water is discolored, run the cold water taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes until the water runs clear," NJ American Water said.
Residents will not receive any additional alerts about the issue unless additional action is required or conditions change, NJ American Water said Monday morning.
