West Wrestling Unofficial No. 4 Seed, Camden Catholic No. 1
The Lions and Irish each qualify for the team tournament in their respective sections, based on unofficial seeds from the state athletic association.
Cherry Hill West's wrestlers are playoff-bound for the first time in school history, following seeding meetings at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tuesday, as reported by the Star-Ledger.
West is unofficially the No. 4 seed in South Jersey, Group 3, and is scheduled to host No. 5 Lacey in the first round next Monday. Seeds can be appealed by individual schools, however, and could change before they're locked Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions had been in the playoff picture for weeks, and solidified their chances with a sweep of a quad meet at East Saturday, though they weren't able to gain enough points to overtake Moorestown for the No. 3 spot.

In the Non-Public bracket, Camden Catholic is, unsurprisingly, the unofficial No. 1 seed in South Group B, which the Irish have dominated all season. Unofficial No. 2 seed Holy Cross was nearly a full nine power points behind Camden Catholic in the last power points standings, the biggest drop-off in any of the South sections.
The Irish will get a first-round bye in the team tournament, then host the winner of St. Joseph (Hammonton) and Bishop Eustace. That semifinal match is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13.

East's wrestlers, who trailed in the Group 4 standings all season, didn't make the six-team playoff cut in South Jersey, Group 4.
