Y.A.L.E. School in Cherry Hill Hosts Workshop On Mindfulness
Local Students With Disabilities Learn Stress Reduction Techniques

Cherry Hill, NJ– In honoring May as Mental Health Month, Y.A.L.E. School’s leadership invited volunteers to teach students effective strategies to cope with stress. Y.A.L.E. School’s Cherry Hill campus hosted a workshop on mindfulness for its students.
On Thursday, May 10th volunteers from the Camden County Care Management Organization and the Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council provided a mindfulness workshop to Y.A.L.E. Cherry Hill students in observance of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. The session, which was facilitated by Sara Parente of the Listening Center, provided an overview of mindfulness techniques including deep breathing and meditation.
