Cherry Hill, NJ– Monitoring children’s safety on the internet can be daunting. While social media can be a great platform to learn, share, and play games, parents today must also consider the ugly side of social media: bullying, sexting, exploitation, and even addiction. Recognizing the importance of cyber safety, Y.A.L.E. School is hosting a free workshop for parents and educators on Cyber Safety.

Diana Graber, author and founder of Cyberwise.org and CyberCivics.com will be presenting Technology, Kids and Teens: A Parents & Educator’s Guide to Cyber Safetyon Tuesday November 13th. Ms. Graber’s upcoming book is dedicated to helping children build a healthy relationship with technology. During the workshop, Ms. Graber will describe what kids are doing online and what they need to know to keep safe. She will cite key points from her book to guide parents on ways to help their children develop balance and safety with technology.

The workshop will be held at Y.A.L.E. School’s Performing Arts Center, 700 Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ and begins at 7:00 pm.
