RIVERSIDE, NJ — One man was hurt in a shooting that occurred in Riverside, <a href="https://riversidepolicenj.blogspot.com/2022/04/one-injured-in-early-morning-shooting.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">authorities said.</a> Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Cleveland Avenue a little after 1 a.m. Monday and found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to authorities. The victim was apparently sitting in a parked vehicle when another vehicle drove up along side it, authorities said. An occupant in the second vehicle fired into the victim's vehicle, then took off, authorities continued. The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition was not released. Anyone with information about the shooting or has any relevant surveillance camera footage is asked to call the Riverside Township Police Detective Bureau at 856-461-8820, extension 114 or email detectives@riversidepolicenj.org. Anonymous tips can also be texted to 847411 with riversidepd in the message field along with the tip or submitted via the department's Facebook page or website.
