1 Hurt In Riverside Shooting

An early Monday morning shooting in Riverside left one man hurt, police said.

RIVERSIDE, NJ — One man was hurt in a shooting that occurred in Riverside, authorities said.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Cleveland Avenue a little after 1 a.m. Monday and found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to authorities.

The victim was apparently sitting in a parked vehicle when another vehicle drove up along side it, authorities said. An occupant in the second vehicle fired into the victim's vehicle, then took off, authorities continued.

The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition was not released.
