13-Year-Old Stole Car in Burlington County, Captured in Gloucester County: Police
The teen was 1 of 5 arrested as they attempted to steal 2 cars from a dealership, police said.

A 13-year-old Burlington County boy was arrested and charged after police found him driving a stolen car in Gloucester County on Monday.
The boy was one of five teenagers who were arrested in connection with the theft of two cars, Burlington Township Police said.
The 13-year-old Burlington City boy was the youngest person involved, and was arrested while driving a stolen Dodge Driver in Westville. The Charger had been stolen from Dodge City, police said.

He was arrested by Westville Police are turned over to Burlington Township Police on charges of burglary and theft. He was released to the custody of the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police were alerted of the burglary at Dodge City by an alarm activation around 1:18 a.m. Monday morning.
When they arrived, they spotted a Jeep Grand Cherokee leaving the parking lot. Officers say they stopped the car, learned that it had been stolen and pursued three teenagers who fled the scene on foot.

They were assisted in the chase by additional Burlington Township Police officers, as well as officers from Burlington City and Edgewater Park.
Police captured them as they attempted to run across Route 130 into Willingboro.
Terry Bailey, 18, of Burlington City, was one of the three people captured. He was charged with burglary, and released on his own recognizance.
The other two were 15-year-olds, one from Beverly and one from Burlington City. One was charged with burglary and released to his parents, and the other was charged with burglary and theft, and released to the custody of his parents.
The driver of the car, 18-year-old Xavier Carter, of Beverly, was arrested on the scene of the traffic stop. He was charged with burglary and theft. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail on $15,000 bail.
