2 Shot, 1 Killed In South Jersey: Prosecutor

A 30-year-old Lawnside man was killed, and the investigation is ongoing.

A South Jersey man was killed during a shooting in Camden Tuesday night, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Wednesday.

Police responding to a ShotSpotter activation and 911 calls for a shooting found two men in the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue in the city at about 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 28. Both were taken to Cooper University Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Stanford Brown, 30, of Lawnside, was pronounced dead at about 7:35 p.m. The other victim, a 28-year-old Camden man, was treated and released. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
