7-11 To Open a Second Location in Cinnaminson

The old Exxon station on the corner of Highland and Route 130 will be a 7-11.

The Route 130 corridor will get a new 7-Eleven at the corner of Highland Avenue after zoning plans were recently approved.

Lehigh Gas Corporation plans to add the convenience store there once all environmental tests are finished and cleanup is done.

The store will be around 3,000 square feet and hold 18 parking spots.

“What we try to do with our vision on Route 130 is to provide an array of businesses that best serve the needs of residents,” said Committeeman Anthony Minniti, director of economic development.

The on Route 130 and Riverton Road will remain open for customers traveling on Route 130 north.

The new location, which was once home to an Exxon gas station, will also add a ratable to the township’s tax base.

“It also is a blighted property that’s being fixed up,” Minniti added. “The use is clearly a benefit to the community.”

However, there is no timeline yet as to when construction will start.

Lehigh Gas Corporation is based in Bethlehem, Pa. and holds partnerships with several gas station companies including Mobil, Hess and Gulf. However, the new 7-11 will not feature a gas station.

“This falls squarely in mind with what we envision having here,” Minniti said.
