Alleged Burglar Skipped Court Hearing: Prosecutor
Police are searching for 40-year-old Lacy Morris.

Lacy Morris, 40, of Woodbury is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on July 31, 2017, for a final disposition conference on burglary and theft charges. He is 6’0,” 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His image is attached to this post.
Morris is charged with a burglary in which he is accused of stealing a wallet containing cash and a credit card from an apartment in Woodbury on Oct. 22, 2016.
A Woodbury police officer who was dispatched to the scene was told an intruder gained entrance to an upstairs apartment through a back door. An investigation led to a nearby apartment building where Morris lived, and he was arrested.

Morris was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary and third-degree theft by a Gloucester County grand jury on April 26, 2017.
