Last week was the town wide yard sale in Riverton called the "Treasure Hunt." I arrived an hour after all the yard sales opened. I had a wonderful morning walk, enjoyed the beautiful facades on the homes, and met some very friendly people. This week I was anxious to get out early for the yard sales in Cinnaminson. I saw kitchen table sets that were priced at $300 dollars and wondered if that was the place to sell them. Expanses of glasses and household items, clothing, and children's toys were the usual fare of items at most of the sales.
I love yard sales and since I see the same thing over and over at most of them, I was wondering what the readers at the Patch think. Do people really buy used glasses? Would you buy someone's clothing or do you even look at them? What is your opinion of the prices you have seen at yard sales lately? Are the sellers really pricing their items correctly?
