Burlington Co. Jail Officer Kept Child Porn On Hard Drive: Prosecutor
Austin Metivier was arrested at work after getting charged with possession of child pornography.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A corrections officer at the Burlington County Jail was found with child pornography, authorities said.
Austin Metivier, 34, of Mount Holly, was charged Friday with third-degree possession of child pornography. He was arrested at work Friday and placed in the Camden County Jail, where he'll remain incarcerated pending his initial court appearance.
A Burlington County spokesperson declined to disclose Metivier's current job status.

The investigation began last month, when Pemberton Township police were informed that Metivier had a hard drive containing child pornography. A forensic examination revealed that it contained multiple explicit photos of underage girls, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office (BCPO).
While searching Metivier's home, authorities seized multiple electronic devices, which the BCPO will examine.

Metivier has worked at the Burlington County Jail for three years and currently makes a salary of $51,733, according to state records.
