Hit-And-Run Driver Seriously Injures Man In South Jersey: Authorities

EDGEWATER PARK, NJ — A driver is wanted after hitting a man with his car along Bridgeboro Road on Saturday, the Edgewater Park Township Police Department said.

At around 10 p.m., officers responded to the area between Creek Road and Route 130 for a report that someone was hit by a vehicle.

Based on early evidence, a man was crossing Bridgeboro Road when he was hit by a light-colored sedan, authorities said.

The sedan then continued along Bridgeboro Road towards Route 130 and left the crash site.

The man was left with serious injuries and was still in the hospital as of Wednesday.

Using surveillance video, detectives believe the vehicle was a white sedan with a black roof that should have front-end damage. It also may have a damaged windshield.
