The amount of images and videos upgraded his charges to a first-degree crime, officials said.

EASTAMPTON, NJ — A Burlington County man stored more than 340,000 images and videos containing child pornography across multiple hard drives, authorities said.
Lawrence Bayern, 69, was arrested at his Eastampton home on April 29 and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material. Multiple electronic devices were seized for detectives to analyze.
As investigators examined multiple storage drives and a cell phone, they discovered that Bayern had more than 100,000 files containing child pornography, which upgraded his charge to a first-degree offense.
