Burlington County Clerk Urges Residents To Submit Ballots Early

Burlington County Clerk Joanne Schwartz is urging residents to vote their ballot and mail it in ahead of time.

“For the first time in Burlington County’s election history paid postage is provided on returned ballots, we are empowering voters,” Schwartz said. “Exercising your right to vote is a hallmark of our democracy and remember, every vote counts and is counted in Burlington County.”

Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned in person at the Election Board until the polls close at 8 p.m. on election night. Ballots that are postmarked by Election Day and received by the Election Board within 48 hours after the polls close also will be accepted.

Voters, or their authorized messenger, may visit the County Clerk’s Office during office hours up until 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, to fill out an application and receive a mail-in ballot on the spot.
