Eramus Canty has been indicted in the November 2015 shooting of a store clerk.

A Burlington Township man has been indicted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Willingboro convenience store clerk, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi said on Thursday.

Eramus Canty, 32, was indicted on one count of first-degree felony murder, one count of first-degree robbery and one count of second-degree certain persons not to have firearms.

Upon arrival, they found Mwinsori in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

After investigators identified Canty as a suspect, they distributed information concerning him and his vehicle to law enforcement officials.

An Asbury Park police officer spotted Canty’s red Dodge Charger pulling into a convenience store on Memorial Drive on Dec. 19, and requested a back-up unit to assist with the arrest. Canty was taken into custody without incident.
