Burlington County Resident Diagnosed With Hepatitis A

The unidentified resident was diagnosed on May 8, and worked as a server at a Voorhees restaurant.

A Burlington County resident who works at a restaurant in Voorhees has tested positive for Hepatitis A, the Camden County Health Department said on Friday.

All the employees at the restaurant were vaccinated shortly after identification to prevent spread of the disease, officials said.

There is little to no public threat, officials said. The restaurant employee had limited direct contact with any food consumed by the public, was not experiencing diarrhea, and did not work while sick.
