Trio Sought After Giant Troll Statue Vandalized In Burlington Co.: Police
'Big Rusty' is a 20-foot sculpture made of trash and recycled materials, created by world-renowned artist Thomas Dambo.

HAINESPORT TOWNSHIP, NJ — State Police are seeking three people accused of vandalizing a massive art sculpture in Burlington County.
Bordentown troopers responded Aug. 9 to a criminal-mischief complaint in Hainesport Township, where they found multiple graffiti markings on a 20-foot statue known as "Big Rusty."

Big Rusty is a troll sculpture made entirely of trash and recycled materials. World-renowned artist Thomas Dambo and his team completed the sculpture last July off Route 38.
The statue is made of materials from the abandoned pottery factory behind Big Rusty, with more than 100 square meters of rusty metal roof, a plywood attic, electrical equipment, a concrete wall and wood.
