Burlington County Woman Indicted In Wife's Murder
Laura Bluestein was indicted in the death of 29-year-old Felicia Dormans.

A Burlington County woman has been indicted on murder and weapons charges in connection with the fatal shooting of her wife in their home in August, authorities announced.
Laura Bluestein, 29, of Mount Holly, was indicted on one count each of murder in the first degree, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree tampering with evidence, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced.
The investigation began on Aug. 6 when Mount Holly police discovered 29-year-old Felicia Dormans had been shot in the face while responding to the couple’s Mount Holly home. She was pronounced dead on the scene, and Bluestein was arrested without incident.

Bluestein has been detained in the Burlington County Jail since her arrest. An arraignment has been scheduled for Nov. 27 in Superior Court.
According to Christina Dormans, Felicia's mother, the two were involved in an argument earlier that day, and Dormans was considering leaving Bluestein because she was being abused. She encouraged anyone in a similar situation to reach out for assistance “before it gets to a point where somebody loses a life.”
