Camden Man Sentenced After Admitting He Pointed a Gun at Woman, 2 Kids in Palmyra

A Camden man has been sentenced to five years in prison after previously pleading guilty to aggravated assault and threatening to kill when he pointed a handgun at two women and a young boy at a house in Palmyra in 2014, the Burlington County Times reports.
James Hinson, 38, admitted to pointing a gun at the three during a gathering on April 2 of last year.
The incident was the result of an argument involving Hinson and the two women. He allegedly pointed the gun at them and at a car in which the boy was sitting before fleeing.

Cherry Hill Police arrested him nine days later and turned him over to Palmyra police.
He is currently incarcerated in Camden County on unknown offenses, according to the report. He was sentenced in absentia.
