Cinnaminson Advances in Football Playoffs With Win Over Bordentown
Cinnaminson took advantage of a turnover to get on the scoreboard first in Friday's win, according to the Burlington County Times.

Nick Thevanayagam ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the third-seeded Cinnaminson High School football team’s 28-7 win over No. 6 Bordentown in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II playoffs Friday night, according to the Burlington County Times.
Thevanayagam ran for scores of 9 and 2 yards, and threw a 6-yard pass to Shaun Davila.
Aaron Elly added a 3-yard run for a score in the fourth quarter.

The Pirates took advantage of a fumble early in the second quarter for their first score, and a stalled drive by Bordentown for their second.
It was the second time this season the teams played. Cinnaminson defeated Bordentown, 35-28, on Sept. 26.

Cinnaminson improved to 8-1, and will visit No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven (7-2), a 35-7 winner over No. 7 Johnson, in the semifinals on Nov. 21.
The other two first round games, in which No. 1 Roselle hosts No. 8 Lakewood and No. 4 Spotswood hosts No. 5 Delaware Valley, were scheduled for Saturday.
