Taxes will hold steady under a $15.7 million budget passed by Cinnaminson Township Committee earlier this month.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson’s municipal tax rate will hold steady following the passage of the township’s $15.7 million budget earlier this month.
The budget is $15,762,110.34, up from last year’s $15,265,401.65 budget, but there will be no tax increase. This year’s budget includes a grant for Union Landing Road for $245,000, according to Chief Financial Officer Julia Edmondson.
The tax rate will remain at 61.6 cents per $100,000 of assessed land, according to officials. The owner of the average Cinnaminson home valued at $234,100 will pay $1,442.05 in municipal taxes, which makes up about 18 percent of the local property tax bill.
